01 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Strangr. By using this platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

If you are accessing Strangr on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

02 User Conduct

You agree to use Strangr responsibly and in a manner that respects other users. Specifically, you agree to:

• Treat other users with basic respect and dignity
• Accurately represent your age and identity when prompted
• Understand that Strangr is a public platform — other users may record, screenshot, or share video or chat content. By using Strangr, you consent to the possibility of being recorded or shared by other users
• Not use Strangr for commercial solicitation, spam, or advertising
• Not attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws

03 Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on Strangr:

• Nudity or sexual content of any kind, including partial nudity
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance, immediately reported to NCMEC and law enforcement
• Hate speech, racism, or content targeting individuals based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or nationality
• Harassment, threats, doxxing, or stalking behaviour
• Content promoting or depicting violence, self-harm, or suicide
• Sharing of personal information of other users without consent
• Impersonation of any person or entity
• Distribution of malware, phishing links, or harmful code

04 Privacy & Data

Strangr collects minimal data necessary to operate the platform. This may include:

• Display name, age, and gender (provided by you at sign-in)
• Email address (if you create a registered account)
• Approximate geolocation derived from your IP address
• Session analytics including time on site and number of chats

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not permanently store video or chat content. Connections are peer-to-peer where possible.

05 Tokens & Payments

Strangr offers an optional token system that allows users to send virtual gifts and unlock certain features. Tokens have no cash value and are non-refundable except where required by law.

• Tokens are purchased in the amounts displayed on the platform at the time of purchase
• Token prices are in USD and may be subject to change
• Unused tokens do not expire
• Tokens cannot be transferred between accounts or redeemed for cash
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the token system at any time

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Stripe). By making a purchase, you also agree to their terms of service.

06 Moderation

Strangr uses a combination of automated systems and human review to moderate content. By using this platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your video feed and chat messages may be reviewed for policy violations
• Strangr may capture screenshots or recordings for moderation purposes
• Moderation decisions are made at our sole discretion
• You can report another user at any time using the in-app reporting tools

We are committed to making Strangr a safe space. Moderation is not perfect — if you encounter something that violates these Terms, please report it immediately.

07 Disclaimers

Strangr is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• The quality of any interactions, content, or information will meet your expectations
• Any defects or errors will be corrected

You use Strangr at your own risk. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the platform.

08 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Strangr and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform shall not exceed $1 USD, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

09 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Strangr at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform immediately ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall do so, including but not limited to Sections 3, 7, and 8.

You may stop using Strangr at any time. If you have a registered account, you may request deletion by contacting us.
